Metal Care

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is a living metal - it develops a natural patina over time. To keep it bright:

  • Store in an airtight pouch or box away from humidity and sunlight.
  • Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying perfume, lotions, or hairspray.
  • Polish gently with a soft, lint-free silver cloth to restore shine.
  • For deeper tarnish, use a mild silver cleaning solution and rinse thoroughly with warm water.
  • Avoid contact with chlorine, bleach, and household chemicals.

Gold Vermeil, Gold-Plated & Gold-Filled

  • Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth after each wear.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing cloths, which can wear away the plating.
  • Store separately to prevent scratching.
  • Remove before contact with water, sweat, or beauty products to extend the life of the finish.

Gemstone & Pearl Care

Pearls

Pearls are organic gems that require gentle handling:

  • Always put pearls on last - after perfume, hairspray, and makeup - as chemicals dull their lustre.
  • Wipe with a soft, damp cloth after wearing to remove skin oils and perspiration.
  • Store flat in a soft pouch, never in an airtight container, as pearls need slight moisture.
  • Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, steam, and harsh chemicals.
  • Have pearl strands re-strung periodically if worn regularly.

Gemstones

  • Clean with a soft brush, mild soap, and warm water; rinse and pat dry.
  • Avoid ultrasonic or steam cleaners for softer stones (e.g. opals, turquoise, emeralds).
  • Remove jewellery before physical activity, gardening, or heavy lifting to prevent chips and scratches.
  • Store each piece separately to avoid stones scratching one another.

Ring Sizing

Finding your perfect fit is simple. We recommend measuring your finger at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest, and at room temperature.

  • Use our RingSizer tool available on product pages to find your size instantly.
  • If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort.
  • Wide-band rings typically fit more snugly - consider going half a size up.

Returns

  • We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided you contact us within 14 days of delivery to initiate the return.
  • Items must be unworn, unaltered, and in their original packaging.
  • Personalised or custom pieces are non-returnable unless faulty.
